I am trying to reach out beyond my comfortable area, and see what people who I do not speak with regularly feel, is necessary from a CSM candidate. As a member of the CSM, I must be able to represent the whole community, not just the parts that speak my native language. Just because I don't speak the language does not make your concerns or issues any less valid.

I do not speak Russian, so I am forced to use google translate to attempt to communicate with this section of the community. Should I be elected, I will do my best to stay in contact, I have been on this forum for some time, however I forgot my information to log into the boards. I used to be the alliance leader of Narwhals ate my Duck and have posted battle reports here in the past.

I understand the resentment considering this is my first real attempt to reach out to the broader russian speaking community, and I hope that you are willing to give me the consideration at least to try to promote myself and my ideas on these forums. If you have any questions for me, please do not hesitate to ask them here, or you can contact me in-game.

I also have a made a public offer to come and speak with any organization on their voice communication server, though with non-english speaking groups, I would of course need a translator.

Ofc your unability to communicate properly not making our conserns any less valid. It only makes extremly hard for you to even know our concerns and thus i find it hard to belive that you would be able to represent them properly. What you can do is contact certain corporations and alliances and communicate with them to know what bothers them, since its quite possible that all such corporations or alliances have at least one capable english-speaking person who would be able to deliver their consolidated opinion on different matters. e.g. seek not attention from whole russian speaking comminity, seek english speaking members of this community who can represent opinions of larger player groups. What you do now is counterproductive and would just enrage a lot of people, becouse by inflicting your google translate on them you are insulting all of us.

Что самое забавное - еще вроде небыло объявления о наборе в ЦСМ8. Мож его вообще отменят наконец?

Well, it was bound to happen.
Eve-ru forum is as harsh place as EVE itself is - the amount of trolls per active person would shadow such entities as goons and alike. Especially lately we have some kind of trolling pandemic here, anything and everyone gets trolled right away. So as one person mentioned in replies before me - seek individuals in russian speaking corps and alliances for the support and stuff - almost everyone has a few guys speaking English for comfortable dialog.
Using this forum for that right now only makes it worse. Half the stuff some dudes written already is heavy russian untranslatable slang that made this topic look like a shithole to any decent guy trying to read it. It's all here - from accusations of blobing, NATO to political prostitution, personal interests (go to Iceland for free), shitfans and alike. Sadly, despite the evidence to the contrary, many think that CSM is a privilege and status thing rather that the responsibility and need to work your ass off for a year for free.

Тоже хотел спросить это, хотелось бы точнее узнать что то более конкретно а то просто "обещания о светлом будущем стеной текста" ТС-а не воодушевляют.

Переименовать Слиперов в Medved а рибоны в Vodka не предлагали еще?

в чем-то согласен, в чем-то нет.
не стоит обращаться к коммьюнити через алли и корпы, т.к. их руководство может иметь определенное мнение, которое может не устраивать другие алли\корпы\людей.
пусть уж лучше сам вещает.

Мне кажется что иметь 5 мнений по набору пунктов, за каждым из которых стоит по 100-500 человек (и специализирующиеся на теме организации) гораздо лучше и полезнее, чем иметь 1000 различных мнений или, что более вероятно, 10-20 мнений от людей произвольной степени компетенции и опыта в данной области.
Мнению произвольного члена корпорации я завсегда предпочту мнение овермайнда или специалиста, да и корпорация скорее проголосует за того, кого ей рекомендовал овермайнд, чем за того кого рекомендует грунт.

Кроме того все англоговорящие товарищи - вполне могут пойти на еве-о и там своё, особое, мнение высказать не одному, а сразу десятку кандидатов, не-англоговорящие скорей всего не будут ни этот его промпт вдумчиво читать, ни ответы писать - а ежели даже напишут - что он там правильно поймёт.

Sorry for the delayed response, I have been dealing with some drama from my former alliance. My corporation, Clann Fian, has left Transmission Lost after a hostile takeover by some of the others in the alliance.
