Свежая жаба Шаду, ставшая реакцией на последние события на востоке. Поскольку с точки зрения военной истории недо-капитуляция РА - лишь небольшой эпизод в масштабном эпике, которым является реконкиста против ДРФ и союзников, то я запощу его тут, в топике, в котором картинка рассматривается с достаточной высоты.
TWU 04/03: The end of the thin red line
Thе Winter Welp arrived late
Those of you who have been in PL long, know the situation well: whenever we're on a defensive stance only reacting to enemy formups/gangs -- we progressive lose focus, activity and at the end of the day: dudes on field.
We substitute this with ever increasing risk by augmenting our effectiveness with supercapitals, which... usually... leads to overreaching and getting our dicks chopped off. I guess this time we were lucky our enemies were fairly toothless in making us pay for our mistakes and only managed to kill 2 in combat and 2 being useless. Even Yaay made us pay for our mistakes more dearly in the past and we should have by all counts lost 20-40 supercapitals on one of the occasions we overstepped (I can count at least 5 such occurences here).
But, alas, it is a problem we knew all too well going into this -- but it was a calculated risk: for as I am sure you've figured out by now -- there was actually a reason we had to delay the inevitable crumbling of the Ѕouth.
Reason was simple: we had titans in build in drones. The last of them came out of the CSAA this weekend: I thank you for your
continued effort propping up a front that had no hope to begin with. Time was what we were after: and even at the expense of some SC's: we got it.
I think this is probably the most successful defensive deployments we've actually ever had (first 3 weeks of it at least) -- I was actually somewhat surprised since when we originally deployed I gave us 2 weeks tops. It actually took SОLAR tо start caring enough to begin alarmclocking every night of the week (today will be their 5th consecutive alarmclock op in the middle of their night).
But: let's not kid ourselves too much . You faggots are useless ADD US TZ hubris homos who fail at this game.
The South has crumbled
I worried about this when we moved in and talked to the RA leadership a lot advising them basically: 1. Develop their fleet doctorine to counter tengus 2. Blueball in RUS/EU TZ and 3. Harass all SBU deployments.
They have since for the last 4 weeks: 1. sticked to artyabaddons, 2. Repeatedly suicided fleets in RUS TZ and 3. done nothing about SBUs onlining. At least someone listened: Viking Empire and Red Legion have done all of these things despite their tiny numbers and netted us this campaigns supercapital/capital and multiple fleet kills.
EVE being what we all love -- this has lead to vultures to unsurprisingly jump on the bandwagon properly: Оccupational Hazard moved to DG- and is blue to the whole southern coalition‚ Thе g00dfellas are recruiting anything that can bot, Cascade Imminent is asking more dudes to move in, Nulli is trying to find whatever action they can win by farming RA pets and Goons have a direct batphone to -A- FCs (last time we dropped them with 6 titans on 40 Oracles -- DBRB was gathering the kitchen sink within 5 minutes).
It is therefore NOT unsuprising to hear: RA have decided to pack it in and are moving out to Delve to assault Cascade Immenent, Nulli Ѕecunda and whoever else lives there.
I can't say I blame them to be honest. They've had a tough time with leadership challenges and have now chosen to start new without their old coalition in a new place that frankly -- no one really wants anyway. They have made some new friends, they say they've learned a lot of lessons with FCs/fleet doctorines and seem to be going off to try a new start at the alliance. For that reason: NО, we will nоt reset them until we move out of the area. We wish them well, politely, and thank them for their efforts and help keeping our titan builds going

XIX has been taking a little bit of a break at the same time, getting their shit together and gathering more FCs and people into core alliance. And, uaxdeath being a boss: they've decided to fight for drones making it as hard and painful as possible for SОLAR/A/bandwagon to invade. I'd expect this fight will have the same inevitable end result as RA‚ but dеath likes being a dick and making duders grind through 50 outposts while putting up a good ol college try in the process.
-A- have adapted their tactics quite significantly in the last 2 months we've fought them, we have to give them that. They've continued to evolve their fleet doctorines, Makalu has gotten a LOT better at managing a large field. When we first moved to curse -- he would regularly panic warp to random objects losing half the fleet in process and generally shy away from any fight that looked hard. Their Oracle doctorine is actually worth adapting to our use, should we again want to ever start roaming and their main fleet rarely panics like they used to. I guess I'm somewhat proud at what we created here . Thou I will enjoy seeing them failure cascade for the next 6 months back to bickering NC-style mass carebear coalition -- but hey!
What does this mean for Pandemic Legion
Obviously -- we are looking for a new campaign. The trouble is: there is nothing REALLY interesting right now going on in EVE. Goons are making forward progress on Tenal, but I mean PL isn't very good at defensive campaigns as even the new dudes joined in the last few weeks have OBVIOUЅLY observed.
Therefore, right now -- we're not yet moving anywhere.
But obviously given the rapidly cascading front we find ourselves in: YОU NEED TO START FUCKING FOLLOWING AND BE READY TO REDEPLOY AT MOMENTS NOTICE
Our chоice really comes down to very few options and we might still just go to Amamake for few weeks of vacation while politics develop... but if you manage to un-LAZY LEGIОN yourself -- there is actually a FUCKTON of traffic we can fish out here (with herocats).
Corporations might want to reduce their footprint significantly by pulling non-combat essential assets (corp hangers) to low sec nearby. Individuals should make sure their shit fits in a carrier + supers. BUT YOU SHOULD NOT FUCKING MOVE OUT YET
YOU COCKSUCKER OR I *WILL* COME RAPE YOU MYSELF.
So‚ for thе next week keep EXTREMELY vigilant, be ready to move at moments notice and get active dropping on the countless vultures left rigth and centre.

Я не великий знаток английского, потому дам лишь краткий пересказ. Кто готов перевести - велкам, постите ниже или шлите мне. Итак:
- пандемики не любят обороняться, "теряют фокус" и падает активность
- панды радуются, что умудрились не слить тонну суперкапов (как они делали регулярно раньше) - "мы были удачливы, а наши враги были довольно беззубыми в том, чтобы заставлять нас заплатить за наши ошибки". (
надо сказать, что они были в шаге от этого - но подвело отсутствие пары нужных людей в самый ответственный момент - bw)
- причина пребывания панд в дронрегах - защита строящихся для них титанов. последний из них вышел в эти выходные.
(тут Шаду произносит тираду по отчаянное сопротивление - однако, мы все помним, каков на самомо деле был расклад сил на момент приезда панд в дронреги - тогда это происходило под фанфары и ожидания немедленного успеха - bw)- дальше Шаду разуется успешной защите - правда я не очень понимаю, защиту чего?? а затем признает, что Юг (в нашем понимании - Восток) "разрушился"
- Шаду выдал лидершипу РА три ценных директивы: 1) найти контру тенгам, 2) блуболить врагов в ру/юс тз, 3) противодействовать установке сбу. Однако непослушные реды сделали следующее: 1) пересели на артибидоны, 2) сливали флоты в рус тз, 3) ничего не делали с онлайнящимися сбу. Викинги и Ред Легионы были куда послушнее (
и получают сахарок - bw)
- далее Шаду называет стервятниками всех, кто присоединился к авагону - Окупейшн Хазардов, Гудфелласов и Каскадов и Нулли а также упоминает про прямой батфон между гунами и ААА фк... (
ужас - весь мир ополчился на панд bw)
- этими обстоятельствами Шаду объясняет отъезд РА в Дельв (их переблобили
)
- Шаду говорит, что панды не отресетят РА до отъезда, и благодарит, что они активно защищали строящиеся титаны пандемиков ( We wish them well, politely, and thank them for their efforts and help keeping our titan builds going

(реды, как я понимаю, совершенно иначе представляли себе истинный смысл этой войны - bw)- далее Шаду говорит, что Дич собрался драться и собирает силы для обороны дронрегов, всех 50ти аутпостов, но в общем тоне звучит отчетливый скепсис - I'd expect this fight will have the same inevitable end result as RA - "я ожидаю, что у этой борьбы будет тот же неизбежный исход, как и у РА".

- далее Шаду говорит, что Макалу ЗНАЧИТЕЛЬНО прибавил в уровне (Makalu has gotten a LOT better at managing a large field), однако ворчливо пророчествует, что вскоре ааа станет каребир-нц стайл пвп
а теперь - от анализа к директивам:
- ПЛ ждет новая компания, однако Шаду заранее не нравится оборона севера - по его словам (и по факту) ПЛ плохи в обороне. поэтому пока они
не двигаются никуда. следут матерный призыв быть готовым к скорому развертыванию снова - YОU NEED TO START FUCKING FOLLOWING AND BE READY TO REDEPLOY AT MOMENTS NOTICE
- вариант с Аммамаке отвергнут с гневом.
- далее невнятно - в общем, надеются на фейл Макалу и что-то подрезать видимо
(в общем, невнятно все - bw) далее следуют перечисления форматов, причем там все, что есть и так.
Выводы:Пафос текста Шаду (и название) построен на аллюзии к знаменитому
сражению при Балаклаве - "тонкой красной линии". Однако, "обороной" это стало не так сразу - ведь сначала были фанфары от успешного закатывания в асфальт соларов и ожидания легкой прогулки на Юг. Потому мне эта ситуация больше напоминает другую знаменитую битва Крымской войны - в которой "элита" умылась кровью и отступила. Вот так -
атакой легкой кавалерии - и имело смысл назвать эту войну для панд. И вообще, "обороной коробок" эта война стала только сегодня, то того это было "выселение соларов" (интересно, а что панды говорили редам и откуда взялось" мы будем пытаться забрать кэш"?). В общем, прикольная попытка сделать хорошую мину при очень плохой игре.
Из жабы понятно, что Шаду совершено не представляет что делать, и видимо весь их расчет - похотдропать флоты/супера южан в момент зачистки территорий редов. Насколько это поддержит стремительно падающий партисипейн панд - хз, но в целом, они вступают в очередную спячку до момента, как их начнут мягко трогать за луны.
Вдогонку: вообще говоря, момент предельно напряженный. Защищать дича панды желанием не горят (это ведет к систематическим сливам). Соотв, кроме как гунов дичу позвать некого. Однако гуны в плюсах к пандам сейчас, в момент их войны с технолигой - звучит крайне сомнительно. А значит, вся политическая конструкция трещит по швам, и если темп "закатывания в асфальт" осколков дрф сохранится, то дронреги станут легкой добычей для соларов и тех, кто захочет лично высказать "великим политикам" свое отношение к их кунфу.
Отличная выдалась война, удачи всем, кто воевал и шел к этому.
