Over a year ago, in response to the Goons and NC to fight with them against AAA and receive top Catch as reverd, they told "no", and relation between AAA and CVA were sincere and friendly.
It was just a standard sporting attitude to PvP - when both sides gave fun to each other in any quantity, composition, and at any time.
Why this changed?
On the one hand, I believe people like Equinox Daedalus, who say that there is no alliance with the Goons, but only a desire to expand the Amarr empire at the expense of several empty and unimportant systems.
And in this sense, all the cries about the alliance - a traditional provocation from Goons who want to create a threat on a flat surface, and diverting AAA to home defens (if expansion of provi-superior numbers limited to the top of the pipe - then clean up after them would not only be easy, but just nice to AAA. - What could be better then war in one cap-jump from base?)
However, two points cause major issues. First one, Do CVA lives so much in their own world, that they doesn't understand what is happening in Eve? There is now the second phase of Great War, and Goons with their northern allies fucked on all fronts. This strategic operation, which can safely be called "Revenge" should put an end to superior numbersers, scammers and metagamers, clearing the map for combat, PvP oriented and active alliances.
Wrong time, to plunge the knife into the back pvp-partners who are bored by POS wars, the lack of fun and other delights of the timezone wars, who involved in action : removal of main Eve's fun destroyers - Goons?
Secondly, this piece of pipe has no any industrial significance. This is a backup (and once in the past - main) AAA logistics artery, this constellation with the key port (HED), is constellation near our capital (GE-). Does it seem somewhat illogical to consider "not involved" corner in the hallway between the front door and the living room? And innocently blinking eyes dwell on it?
I still think that the hand of Goons and other politicians present. As a minimum in planning time and place of attack. Possibly - through intermediaries, or quite possibly - spies. And I am very afraid that if the CVA change his mind - they lose a lot of ASSETS.
However, if this is really just naive - that CVA unsuccessfully entered the world of high politic in Eve. On the bad side, in a bad time and bad roles not even pets but fools. It's a shame for them.
