Hello again, EVE-RU!

I'm not going to post a major campaign thread here. Many of you know me from the years we have fought together as a community; I have been involved with RA and -A-: Nync, Mactep, Evil Thug, and UAxDeath - since September 2006. Some of our old friends are now enemies; some are still friends. It has been a long, strange trip these past six years.

Goonswarm has a significant Russian community and I wanted to come over and say hello to EVE-RU as a matter of respect to my own RUS pilots and to our old friends. If you are a XIX or -A- voter, please stick to your candidates. I hope that CSM7 will continue the good work of CSM6 - please support only sound candidates who understand PvP and the necessity of improving our broken nullsec.

I am pleased to see such support from the eve-ru community. When I first began playing this game in 2006 with Goonswarm, we would have been destroyed as a group were it not for the RUS community sheltering us in Red Alliance and supporting us when the rest of the game tried to bring about our ruin.

Since that time, we have had many dramas and changes in relations after the factionalization of RA, with my old friends from the Lotka Volterra/Southern Coalition war going their separate ways (Nync, Death, Mactep, etc) and some turning against us. Despite that, it is heartwarming to see an outpouring of support and validation from you.

I do not want to campaign too much on this site - UAxDeath and Krutoj are good friends of mine and I do not want to seem like I am trying to poach. I am fairly confident that I am going to win this election, so I am satisfied. I did however want to stop by and thank you for your kind words.
